What Makes Lands Of Exile Super Special

Lands of Exile is a fun, well-attended, accessible and very safe high-fantasy LARP. It’s a very welcoming community, and most people know it as a place you can feel safe from harassment and discrimination.

What’s more, the writing and general gameplay are very good for such a regular game. Normally quality suffers when a game goes monthly. But Lands of Exile manages to uphold a great LARP standard.

The LARP World And Setting

A continent torn apart by bitter wars, with high elves on one side, human (and other) kingdoms allied on another, and “exiled” drow and related creatures too. But a new threat – the emergence of unique and powerful dragons – forces many of the once-settled allied kingdoms to flee, right into the Exiled Lands of their age-old enemies.

It’s all about surviving and rallying in those unfriendly lands, and maybe, just maybe finding a way to take back what was once yours.

How To Create A Character For Lands Of Exile LARP

Lands of Exile has a very specific history and lore, with race allegiances and character alignments specific to the game. The team put a lot of effort into creating a unique experience, and that’s why it’s best to create a character that really fits, for max enjoyment.

How Much Does It Cost?

Regular per-game player passes are $60 (around 80 available per game), while new player passes are $20 (only 10 per game). Season passes are $360 per year, but they sell out super fast, so best to join the community and become a regular to qualify for those. Oh, and full-time NPC passes are $20 per year.

Lands Of Exile LARP Tickets

There is a dedicated space to register and get tickets for Lands of Exile, but it’s advisable to inform the organisers beforehand via their website because there are some rules & policies to consider and pre-and post-game reports. There’s also a Facebook Group to join and engage with players and team members.

What is LARPing?

A LARP is a “Live-Action Role-Play” game, which is kinda like a normal RPG (Role-Playing Game) but played out in real life – you actually go camping, dress up, have battles, make decisions and advance through a story like D&D in live action. Check out the full exploration of LARPing meaning.
