Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Following the real-life passing of the Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman in 2020, in this movie T’Challa, king of Wakanda, is dying and his sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) can’t save him. But as new foes emerge searching for Wakanda’s rich sources of vibranium, it’s clear that the people need a Black Panther. Shuri is against it, but they all look to her to fend off Namor. Will she pick up the mantle and become the next Black Panther?

Viking Wolf

This is the international release of a popular Japanese novel adaptation. Asuka and her 5 high school friends are stuck in a time loop. And the one clue they have as to why is the vision of a former student who had been murdered at the school. In order to break the time loop, they must locate the ghost student’s remains, presumably to bring the soul peace. Problem is, the student’s supernatural killer is in there with them.

Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania

And she’s perhaps a little too gifted, as she manages to create a new device to contact the quantum realm. When things go wrong, the entire family is sucked into a portal. But things have changed in the quantum realm – now at war thanks to Kang the Conqueror and henchman MODOK.

Oddly enough not the strangest title on this list. Indie comedy FP 4EVZ is the latest in Jason Trost’s The FP film series featuring JTRO, a very serious competitor in high-stakes futuristic rhythm games (like Dance Dance Revolution), usually to save the planet or change the world or something. This time, JTRO and family travel to the future, where they must battle once more for humanity’s right to party.

When a kid discovers they’re sharing their new home with a ghost called Ernest (David Harbour – aka Hellboy and Jim hopper from Stranger Things), uploading it to YouTube earns the family, including dad Frank (Anthony Mackie – aka The Falcon) instant fame. But when they actually start delving into Ernest’s past and why he is dead, the CIA suddenly wants to get involved in the adventure comedy We Have a Ghost.
